In silenced we have an "Open Topic RP". What this means is that you are given the opportunity to create your own topic and role-play in a thread of your own. The only place where this is not allowed is the Den. The Main Den (And other den sites) are where all members can post in one, massive thread.
There are a few basic rules to keep this system in check though, and if they are frequently disobeyed this system will be revoked and you will be forced instead to use set topics with no additional freedoms.
☢ When naming you topic keep it simple, avoid all Caps, tons of symbols or pleading for member to use your thread. Please just type your title normally. (Ex: Trouble Hunting, The Chase, etc.) Note that there are no set Hunting Grounds or Watering Holes, so calling a topic so is not accepted. There are infinite place to go hunting instead as prey moves around.
☢ Private threads are allowed. Please respect these, but remember we're allowing create your own threads so that members have the opportunity to meet others without having clogged or busy threads. IF your topic is open to everyone add "AW" to the title, meaning that anyone is welcome, if private add the name of animal the thread is intended for instead
☢ If you are going to create a new topic put a little thought into it. A little OCC description to inform other where your topic takes place and maybe a picture to add to the detail.
☢ If you chose to, you may make the first post of a topic and then wait before posting your first RP in a separate post. Usually this would be considered double posting but in these circumstances is overlooked.
